| Pilgrim Cove Foundation Pilgrim Cove Foundation Board of Directors The Pilgrim Cove Foundation Board is made up of 15 Directors who represent the nine United Church of Christ Churches of the Idaho Association. Nominations for the Board of Directors are voted on each fall at the Annual Meeting. Each Director serves a term of three years, and may serve up to two consecutive terms before taking a mandatory year off the Board. The Board of Directors is divided into several committees to effectively meet, discuss issues, and take action for Pilgrim Cove Camp. These committees are Executive, Operations, Facilities, Finance, Program Policy & Support, and Development. Committees seek advice from professional sources and stakeholders when needed, and present any major recommendations or decisions to the Board for approval at regularly scheduled meetings. The Board typically meets six times each year. In addition to providing guidance and making major decisions regarding Pilgrim Cove Camp, members of the Board serve as a volunteer management team to provide important business duties to the camp, such as staff recruitment and supervision, bookkeeping, marketing, fund raising, and property maintenance and development. In this way, camp overhead costs are kept to a minimum, so that almost 100% of every dollar raised through donations or fees goes directly into programs and facility development.
